The whole experience of being tutored supported and represented by Workplace Learning and Graham O’Brien to complete my L7 Leadership and Management; has been fantastic. Graham is organised, dedicated and super professional. He has built my confidence by empowering me to excel with the course material, reflections and source appropriate evidence to progress at a speed tailored to my style of learning. From the moment I started conversing with Graham via email, and Skype he consistently employs a thorough and holistic approach to what my learning and development needs were. He has been timely and encouraging with all correspondence, proactively setting up my portfolio, monitoring my progress and assisting me with accurate and up-to-date information as to how I can provide evidence, testimonials and observations. Graham has been compassionate listening to my worries and giving me constructive feedback. I could not have asked for more once I have actually commenced the course as Graham has always provided me prompt answers to now matter how “silly” my questions have felt at the time. Graham has in my experience the ability to view his learners as unique individuals. I have greatly benefited from his ability to build rapport and to employ a good sense of humour to realign my thoughts when I have become stressed about the course expectations. The working relationship I have built with Graham is amazing but then also treating me as a human with natural emotions – evoked by any demanding academic and professional based qualification!
